So in my Freshman year of High School I found this TV show called Buffy the Vampire Slayer. (I am sure a few of you know it). I was pretty hooked. It was one of the first fantasy shows I watched as well as one of the first shows I watched on a regular bases.
The more I got into the show and into the characters the more I wanted to write stories about them. (Who wouldn't, they were so well done!) So I dove into what would be my first fan fiction. (Not my last by all means.)
So they all of course follow Buffy, and then some new characters that I made for the series. I remember playing around with new slayers, but I'm gonna be honest... Faith and Oz were my favorite characters in that series so... Faith was in a bunch of these and often ended up saving Buffy from whatever problem she had. (Dude that girl got the shit end of things in the series).
I knew I couldn't ever do anything with these, but hey, it was fun to write and gave me something to do while the show was off for the summer, or when I had to wait a whole week for a new episode... it was such a LOOOONG week too sometimes.
I still own all of the DVDs (as well as the Angel DVDs) and a ton of the books and the comic of Buffy Season 8. It's been sometimes since I've watched them, but when one comes on I can still quote it pretty well. (I also can still sing every song from Once More With Feeling).
By the way - like the mini binder? I used that a LOT in High School. It had everything in there. Characters, Stories, Charts... you'll see that show up a ton in future blogs. :)
